Summary of Qualifications:


I have been active in counseling since 1968. My approach to counseling is holistic and balanced: understanding people's needs from a physical, psychological, social and spiritual perspective. My approach is oriented to giving practical steps of action. Based on my years of study and counseling, I have been equally motivated to write two counseling curriculums: "Strategies for Success in Life and Relationships" and "Trophies of God's Grace". I worked closely with a psychiatrist from 1986-2004. This working relationship included a year of weekly accompanying the psychiatrist on hospital rounds. As a part of my continuing education requirements, I have attended, since 1989, psychiatric and other related medical lectures at the Univ. of Alabama School of Medicine/Huntsville program in Primary Medical Care.
